Adobe After Effects - Intermediate Course
This course will provide hands-on practice of intermediate principles, tools, and functions of Adobe After Effects that are used for character animation and compositing.
This Adobe After Effects Intermediate course is designed for users who have the basic knowledge of animating graphics and would like to delve deeper into techniques of compositing and 2D character animation.
Participants will learn to integrate motion graphics with footage by keying, tracking, animating shapes and texts, in addition to 2D character animation. At the end of the workshop, every participant will deliver an animated 30 second video to be used for their personal brand, their own business, or the company they work for.
Audience and requirements
Required basic knowledge of After Effects
Required basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop
Required basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere
Laptop with the software Adobe After Effects CC, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop installed.

About the Trainer:
Ms. Cosette Saliba, a Design and Innovation Strategist. She is a Fulbright scholar who received her MFA degree in Design Management from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), USA. She has 5 years of experience in digital design, design strategy and entrepreneurship and she implemented projects with multinational organizations and SMEs in the US, Africa and GCC. She also runs a startup that helps organizations communicate their stories through animated explainer videos. Her purpose is to catalyze the power of business to solve societal challenges through corporate social innovation. This helps businesses establish stronger relationships with their stakeholders, create an impact in their communities, and become more resilient in economic downturns.
